Alternative accommodations for screening will be provided to those who need it. Guests who refuse screening will be denied entry. The metal detectors will be used by venue staff to detect security threats and prevent banned items from entering the facility.

Substance use:

  • If you choose to use substances, know what is in it. It is not uncommon for drugs to be cut /laced with Fentanyl. Request Fentanyl testing strips from the CSU Health Network and consider carrying Narcan in case of an accidental overdose.
    • Fentanyl testing strips and Narcan are also available at the Health Education and Prevention Services office and Mental Health Services waiting area on the third floor of the Health Network building, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • The effect of psychedelics on your body and mind can be unpredictable. Reduce the risk of scary experiences, injury and mental health problems. Know that environment matters. You can’t control what may come up during a trip, and a highly stimulating environment like a concert could create an experience you don’t want while using.

Alcohol consumption:

  • Make your own drinking choices, drinking only if you want to and sticking with the limit you set for yourself.
  • Know how much alcohol is in your drink and never leave a drink unattended or accept a drink from someone you don’t know.
  • Eat a snack before, during, and after drinking and be sure to drink water.
  • Stay and leave with the same group of friends and designate a driver. Make a plan before the concert for how to get home safely.
  • Avoid mixing alcohol with medications, illegal drugs, or energy drinks.
  • Avoid drinking games.
  • Be 21 or older to avoid underage drinking legal issues.

Attendees may bring their own lawn chairs for the West Lawn venue. Each chair will be inspected upon entry. In order to keep the line moving, please have your chair pulled out of the carrying bag as you approach security.
